As both a service to the public, and a way for animal owners throughout the region to save money on pet costs, Bear Creek Mobile sponsors a wide variety of events throughout the year. We often sponsor rabies and Coggins clinics on the weekends to allow owners who are busy during the week a chance to get their vaccinations at a time that is convenient for them, and offer them a way to save money while doing it! These events are coordinated with a variety of sponsoring agencies around the state; from places like Tractor Supply that grant us their parking lot so horse owners can pull in their large trailers, to Humane Societies that sponsor the event as part of an adoption day. These events can't be forecast for the entire year, but we make every effort to list them here as soon as they can be scheduled. Check back often to see if there is a clinic coming up in your area! We have also posted the dates in which our Practice will be closed (or the doctor will be out of town) at the bottom of this page. These dates are somewhat subject to change for unexpected occurences, but the Holiday closings are fairly certain. Unless stated on our voicemail, Dr, Amy Jordan is on-call for all after-hours emergencies, even during the Holiday closings. Regular business hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Rabies ClinicsFebruary 16th: we are holding a vaccine clinic at our facility on Hwy 73 (Albemarle, NC)
April 20th: WagFest at the YMCA Park (downtown Albemarle, NC)
Cost of Rabies vaccinations will $10 per animal. All Rabies vaccinations will be good for 1 year unless proof of previous vaccination can be presented according to NC State Law. Cash only please. Stay tuned, we will post additional clinics here as they are scheduled. Want to Sponsor a Coggins or vaccine clinic? If you can get a group of 20 or more horses at one location, we will make it a clinic! The owners can save the cost of a farm call and we can provide a great service to everyone in the community at one time! If you have a arge number of dogs that need to be vaccinated and its too difficult to bring them to a clinic, let us know and we will come to you. A farm call fee applies, but it may be worth every penny to keep from having to transport them back and forth several times.
Practice Closings Just to make sure our clients are aware, we have decided to list the days that the clinic will be closed. These dates are usually holidays, vacation days, or continuing education seminars for our doctor and staff. Do not fret. If you have need of emergency assistance during one of these days, a relief veterniarian will be available. Thank you as always for being apart of the Bear Creek Family. Dr. Robin Smith with Yellowhorse Mobile Veterinary Services is available for emergency coverage during the times when Dr, Amy is out of town. Dr. Amy will leave their emergency contact information on the voicemail in the event that she is unable to cover the practice.
