Bear Creek Mobile Veterinary Services provides general large animal medical and surgical services that covers horses, cattle, goats, sheep, and a healthy concentration of alpacas. llamas, and pet pig species.  Since its creation in 2006, the practice has grown and grown and grown.  The time has come for Bear Creek to take the next step; adding another veterinarian. We are currently operating at capacity and to increase our business we have to increase our staff. We currently have two part-time office personnel/assistants, one registered veterinary technician, and one full-time veterinarian/practice owner.   We've reached the point where one doctor can only do so much. To grow any more we need another veterinarian on our staff.

Dr Amy Jordan has been the sole practitioner since she started the practice in April of 2006 and now she's looking for someone to join her team. We are really only interested in finding that right person who wants to make a career out of veterinary medicine and who has a strong desire for ownership in the practice.   A sense of humor, inate ability to adjust and overcome adversity, strong work ethic and sincere dedication to clients and patients is a must. We would prefer someone who has skills that overlap with Dr. Amy but who also may have unique skills that would allow us to expand our services to other areas we don't already cover.

We have put together a group of unique individuals that both work well together and really come together as a "team" to make Bear Creek Vet the best it can be.  We enjoy a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with a great location in Stanly County, North Carolina 30 minutes from downtown Charlotte.  We sit smack dab in the middle of hundreds of beautiful acres of agricultural farm land in our coverage area. With a busy mobile practice as well as an expanding haul-in practice we stay on the go all the time.  We have a very functional haul-in facility with digital radiography, in house laboratory capability, a "smaller animal" surgery room (for those goat c-sections and pet pig spays and neuters) and offices.   We are as proud of our practice as we are our reputation with our clients.

Working at Bear Creek isn't a job, it's a calling. We sometimes work long hours in the sun, freezing rain, trudging uphill through the snow, and getting down in the mud, and we do it happily for our clients day in and day out.  Eventhough this work is often hard with long hours, we emphasize the importance of family and promote comradere while trying to have fun in our job every day.  We're looking for that same drive to succeed in anyone who migtht be interested in joining our team. We have a sterling reputation in the Stanly, Anson, Union, Cabarrus, and Montgomery County areas we serve and we expect anyone who wants to be part of the team to treat the practice like it's their own.. because we want it to be.

We are seeking one individual who can bring new skills to the table, help expand the client base to support the new growth, and who firmly wants to be a partner/owner in this practice. We're not looking to just bring on more employees...we're looking to add to the Bear Creek Family!

If you think you might be the person for the job, please send a resume to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Please be detailed in your cover letter and let us know why you are the perfect person to join our team! All serious applications will get a response.

Thanks,

The Bear Creek Vet Team
